Monday March
25th awesome news came to one of our own. My blogs are 100 percent
Vikings until this one. We do not know the future so maybe this blog will
involve the Vikes after May 8th, NFL draft.
The man I am
speaking of is Ra’Shede Hageman who just finished his career at the University
of Minnesota.
Hageman
stands 6’6” and weighs 310 and plays defensive tackle. He has got to be living
a dream as after college things just keep getting better.
Hageman was
invited to the NFL Combine in Indianapolis and now this past Monday, March 25th
leaned he was invited to New York City to be at the draft live. The only
players invited are players that are expected to be taken in the first round. What
an honor for Hageman.
The Vikes
have the number 8 pick and are believed to be taking a quarterback. We never
know what the draft has in store for the Vikes. I look back at 2013 draft and
remember the Vikes trading back into the first round and took Cordarrelle
Patterson. I would love to see Ra’Shede in Purple but if not I just hope he
goes in the first round.
Hageman is
ranked the 4th best defensive tackle out of 218 which says a ton
about what he has accomplished in his life thus far.
Good luck to
Ra’Shede in the upcoming draft.
Thanks for
reading
